In andere genre's, zoals First-Person Shooters, zijn er 2 of 3 dominerende series, die de grootste competitieve playerbase hebben in het genre. (Call of Duty, Counter-strike, Quake). Voor de rest zijn er wat titels die wat bijsnoepen maar nooit competitief worden opgepikt of überhaupt competitief van aard zijn. Voor Real-Time Strategy games heb je nu vrijwel alleen Starcraft 2, voor Sport games FIFA.
